Fighting Wildfires
The figure on the left is a gasoline driven pump. It can be used to create a gasoline driven pipeline that can attach to an electrically driven pipeline.
The gasoline pumps are best placed along roads where refueling them will be easy. The electric portion of the pipeline is best placed in locations with access difficulties because the electric pumps are powered by the wires in the hose, and once deployed, need no maintenance.
The picture on the right is a device for sucking water out of a pond to feed a pipeline.
